International Truck Repair in Charleston, SC

Mobile diagnostics and repair for International heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks — LT Series, HV Series, MV Series, Durastar, and WorkStar throughout the Charleston area.

Heavy-duty and medium-duty International support

International trucks cover a wide range of commercial applications — from Class 8 LT Series long-haul trucks to MV Series medium-duty delivery platforms. Lowcountry Diagnostics provides mobile International truck service throughout the Charleston area, with diagnostic capability across multiple engine platforms.

LT Series, HV Series, MV Series, Durastar, WorkStar

We service International heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks in commercial operation across the Charleston area. This includes LT Series Class 8 trucks in regional and OTR hauling, HV Series vocational trucks in construction and refuse applications, MV Series and Durastar medium-duty trucks in delivery and service fleet use, and WorkStar heavy vocational configurations.

Engine platforms in our scope include the International A26 (current Class 8 platform), the Cummins X15 and L9 available in International applications, and the previous MaxxForce 13 and DT series engines that remain in active fleet service. MaxxForce engines have well-documented EGR and aftertreatment issues that require accurate diagnosis — not assumptions.

What we see most often on International trucks

MaxxForce EGR & Aftertreatment

MaxxForce 11 and 13 engines have well-documented EGR cooler and valve issues. Coolant contamination from EGR cooler failures, high EGR temperatures, and related aftertreatment system faults all require systematic diagnosis to identify the actual failure point.

A26 Aftertreatment

The International A26 uses a DEF-based SCR system with DPF. SCR efficiency faults, NOx sensor codes, DEF system issues, and DPF soot load management are the most common aftertreatment calls on newer International Class 8 trucks.

Electrical & Diamond Logic

International trucks use Diamond Logic electrical architecture. Body controller faults, switch pack issues, and module communication problems on International trucks require proper software access and systematic diagnosis.

Fuel System Diagnosis

Fuel delivery faults, injection system codes, and high-pressure fuel system issues on International engines require accurate testing. Misdiagnosed fuel faults are expensive — proper diagnosis identifies the actual fault.

Air Brakes & Chassis

Air brake adjustment, air dryer service, brake chamber inspection, and chassis electrical diagnosis on International heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks are all within our service scope on-site.

MV Series & Medium Duty

International MV and Durastar trucks in delivery, utility, and service fleet applications face demanding duty cycles. Electrical, brake, and engine service on these platforms is part of our regular Charleston-area service calls.

Mobile International truck service in Charleston

International trucks operate throughout the Charleston area in a range of commercial applications — container freight, construction, utility service, delivery fleets, and municipal operations. When an International truck develops a fault, particularly on MaxxForce or A26 platforms where diagnosis requires specialized software access, getting accurate information quickly matters.

Lowcountry Diagnostics provides mobile International truck diagnostics and repair throughout the Charleston metro area. We approach every fault systematically, explain what we find, and give you a repair direction based on what the data actually shows — not what the most common cause happens to be.

Findings, options, and next steps you can act on

You should not have to guess what was checked, what failed, or what happens next. We explain the diagnostic findings, the likely cause, the recommended repair direction, and any follow-up items that should be watched or scheduled later.
